About Guest Rooms

    Can you see the ocean from the room?

    A.

    You can see the ocean from almost every room, but it is hard to see it from rooms on the 4th floor. Please request a room with a view at the time of booking and we will try to accommodate your request.

    Is it possible to bring pets to the hotel?

    A.

    Guide dogs and assisting dogs are accepted, but we do not accommodate other pets. There is a pet pension nearby.

    Are there any non-smoking rooms?

    A.

    Our non-smoking rooms are: “Relax Suite”, “Ryukyu Suite”, “Aroma Fragrance” and “Japanese Style” room. Most of the “Relax” rooms are non-smoking as well.
    Other types of rooms have non-smoking options as well, however, since there are only a few we cannot guarantee their availability.

    There is an open-air bath and a sauna for both men and women. It is free for guests staying at the hotel.

    Is the hotel barrier-free?

    There are two wheelchair-accessible “Universal Rooms” that were renovated in July 2006 (1 room can host up to 2 people).
    The bathroom has a sliding door that makes the toilet accessible on a wheelchair.

    You can also rent wheelchairs at the hotel for free, but please make a reservation in advance as we only have 5 of them.

    Our Tattoo Policy

    A.

    Guests with tattoos who wish to use the public bath facilities are required to use a tattoo cover seal for the duration of their public bath usage: the tattoo can be covered with no more than two 8cm x 10cm tattoo cover seals.

    We sell tattoo cover seals at the front desk.

    Do I need to make a reservation for the restaurants?

    Although a reservation is not necessary, as the restaurant may be crowded at some times, we suggest you to book in advance.

    Breakfast is served in a buffet style, which includes Japanese, Western and Chinese dishes. It is served from 6:30 to 10:30 (last entry 10:00).

    What types of cuisine can I find at the hotel?

    A.

    The hotel offers Japanese food and traditional “Hanaui” Okinawan dishes as well. You can also enjoy the fresh local ingredients cooked in French or Chinese style. We also offer buffet-style meals and barbecue.

    About food allergies

    A.

    Upon request, at least 5 days in advance, we can provide food free of the 7 major allergen ingredients: eggs, milk, peanuts, shrimp, crab, wheat and buckwheat. However, we do not provide food without the 20 other allergens: abalone, squid, salmon roe, salmon, mackerel, beef, pork, chicken, oranges, apples, banana, kiwi fruit, peaches, soybean, sesame, cashew nuts, walnut, yam, matsutake mushrooms and gelatin.
    Moreover, we ask you to understand that as we do not use different utensils in the kitchen, it is impossible to ensure you that the food provided did not come in contact with the above mentioned 7 major allergens.
    You are free to bring safe food (ready-made, froze, etc.) to eat during your stay and eat it at the same table as your trip companions, we will assist you by storing and heating it up for you. Please mention it at the time of reservation and during check-in.

    What items are available to rent?

    In the room, you will also find a hairdryer, electric kettle, a refrigerator and a TV.
    Feel free to use slippers to go to the bathhouse as well.

    Can I get to the hotel by bus?

    A.

    From the airport, we recommend using the "Airport Limousine Bus".
    If you ride the airport limousine bus bound for "B Area" and get off at "Royal Hotel Zanpamisaki" it takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

    Please book and purchase tickets at the domestic terminal, "Airport Limousine Bus Information Center".
    Please note that the schedule depends on the season.
    Depending on the arrival time of your flight, you may not be able to catch the last bus.
    We recommend checking the schedule in advance.

    Is there internet connection at the hotel?

    There is free Wi-Fi connection in the Lobby Area, the Rooms and the Restaurants.
    Please select the wireless network (SSID) called “ZANPAHOTEL” on your device.

    -We are unable to provide support for the functioning of your device, please refer to your device’s manual or support system.
    -The service does not guarantee 100% internet availability.
    -Depending on your equipment and location, it may be difficult to connect.
    -Connection speed might slow down due to unforeseen circumstances.
    -We are not responsible for any damage or loss caused by unexpected suspension or malfunction of the service.

    Can I receive packages at the hotel?

    You can have a package sent to the hotel some days before your arrival or during your stay and we will receive it for you. Please make sure to write the hotel's name, the name you used to make your reservation, your arrival date (yyyy/mm/dd format) and in case you are part of a group trip, your group's name.

    If you want to send a package from the hotel, you can do that at the shopping plaza on first floor, where we also sell boxes. Please talk to the counter staff after having prepared the box and filled in the appropriate documentation.

    We can keep your luggage on the day of your arrival before check-in time and on the day of your departure after check-out time.

    Can I purchase medicines at the hotel?

    As regulated by Article 24 of the Pharmaceutical Law, the hotel cannot provide medicines to our customers.
