About Guest Rooms

    Are there baby cribs available?

    A.

    We are sorry to inform you we do not provide baby cribs. However, you can have an extra bed upon paying a fee or consider sharing the bed with your baby, as the beds are semi-double size and can be placed against the wall.

    How big is one tatami?

    A.

    The size of tatami varies depending on the area, however, a standard tatami size usually corresponds to about 1.6m.

    From what time is the bath house open?

    A.

    The bath house (the open air part as well) is open from 15:00 to 24:00; the sauna is open from 15:00 to 23:00. In the morning, in order for our guests to enjoy the sunrise, the bath complex opens at 5:00 and closes at 9:00.
    The view from the open air bath on the Hashiguiwa cliffs and the surrounding sea is magnificent, be sure not to miss it!

    Our Tattoo Policy

    A.

    Guests with tattoos who wish to use the public bath facilities are required to use a tattoo cover seal for the duration of their public bath usage: the tattoo can be covered with no more than two 8cm x 10cm tattoo cover seals.

    We sell tattoo cover seals at the front desk.

    Is there a tennis court?

    A.

    Although there is no tennis court within the hotel, there is an adjacent municipal sports facility called “Sannantan Land”. There you can find tennis courts, baseball fields, multipurpose grounds and a heated pool. The tennis court fee is \1,050 per hour, \3,150 for the whole morning and \4,200 for the afternoon. The whole day would be \ 6,820.

    Is there a beach in front of the hotel?

    As the hotel is located on a hill, 38 meters above sea level, it takes 5 minutes by car to the nearest beach.

    Do I need to make a reservation at the restaurants?

    During crowded times such as weekends and holidays we may pre-set dinner turns. An advanced reservation is suggested, but as long as there are seats available, we will accommodate guests without reservation as well.

    How is breakfast like?

    A.

    We serve breakfast in a buffet style with both Japanese and Western dishes.
    Reservation in advance is not needed. Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 9:30 (last entry 9:00).

    About food allergies

    Upon requesting it at least 5 days before, we can provide food free of the 7 major allergen ingredients: eggs, milk, peanuts, shrimp, crab, wheat and buckwheat. However, we do not provide food without the 20 other allergen: abalone, squid, salmon roe, salmon, mackerel, beef, pork, chicken, oranges, apples, banana, kiwi fruit, peaches, soybean, sesame, cashew nuts, walnut, yam, matsutake mushrooms and gelatin.
    Moreover, we ask you to understand that as we do not use different utensils in the kitchen, it is impossible to ensure you that the food provided did not come in contact with the above mentioned 7 major allergens.
    You are free to bring safe food (ready-made, froze, etc.) to eat during your stay and eat it at the same table as your trip companions, we will assist you by storing and heating it up for you. Please mention it at the time of reservation and during check-in.

    Is there a shuttle service?

    We operate a free shuttle bus between Kushimoto Station and the hotel.
    Please check the access page for the schedule.
    Please note that departures from the hotel at 9:00 and 10:00 will not be operated without prior reservation.

    There is a Toyota rent-a-car in the vicinity. They can come and pick guests up.

    There is free Wi-Fi connection in the Lobby Area, the Rooms and the Restaurants.

    - The service does not guarantee 100% internet availability.
    - Depending on your equipment and location, it may be difficult to connect.

    Can I store my luggage/packages at the hotel?

    We can keep your luggage on the day of your arrival before check-in time and on the day of your departure after check-out time.
    You can also send a package to the hotel some days before your stay, we will keep it until your arrival. Please make sure to write the hotel’s name, the name you used to make your reservation, your arrival date (yyyy/mm/dd format) and the name of your group travel, in case you are part of one.

    If you want to send a package from the hotel, you can do that at the shopping plaza on first floor, where we also sell boxes. Please talk to the counter staff after having prepared the box and filled in the appropriate documentation.

    Can I purchase medicines at the hotel?

    As regulated by Article 24 of the Pharmaceutical Law, the hotel cannot provide medicines to our customers.
