About Guest Rooms

    What time is check-in/out?

    A.

    Check-in is from 15:00, while check out is at 11:00.

  • Q.

    Do you have room service?

    A.

    We are sorry to inform you that there is no room service. Meals are served at restaurant areas only.

    Are there any baby cribs available?

    A.

    Unfortunately, we do not provide baby cribs. However, we can add an extra bed or futon (upon paying an extra fee). Also, most of our rooms have a semi-double sized bed, so you may share the bed with your child.

    Can a group of 5 people stay in the same room?

    A.

    The maximum capacity in rooms is usually 4 people, but in the Japanese Style room up to 5 futon can be arranged. When making a reservation, please book for 4 people and add in the “remark column” that you need an extra futon.

    How big is one tatami?

    A.

    The size of tatami varies depending on the area, however, a standard tatami size usually corresponds to about 1.6㎡.

    Do you have a pool?

    A.

    There is an outdoor pool, however it is open only during summer season (from early July to late August). Our guests can use it before check in or after check out as well. Please use the changing room on B1.
    Please note that opening hours may change according to the weather.

    Is it possible to use the hot springs without staying at the hotel?

    Yes, it is possible upon paying an entrance fee.

    Please note that it is not possible to enter during cleaning time (10:00 ~ 12:00). On top of the mentioned time, there is an extra cleaning day, so please confirm with us before coming. Please make a reservation in advance when coming as a group.

    Our Tattoo Policy

    Guests with tattoos who wish to use the public bath facilities are required to use a tattoo cover seal for the duration of their public bath usage: the tattoo can be covered with no more than two 8cm x 10cm tattoo cover seals.

    We sell tattoo cover seals at the front desk.

    Is there a tennis court?

    As our tennis court closed down in 2014, we recommend the nearby municipal B&G Ocean Center, about 5 minutes by car.

    We do provide high chairs for children, however, the number is limited. Please do not hesitate to ask the staff.

    Awaji Island is famous for its fish, can you recommend any dishes?

    A.

    As the whirlpools are near and red sea bream is the main dish of the area, we recommend you to try “Tai Kaiseki,” a multi-course meal in which red sea bream (“Tai” in Japanese) is used.
    “Hourakuyaki” is also a dish that we recommend, as it allows you to taste red seam bream and other local ingredients cooked in the same pot.
    We serve both and many other dishes (including Miamiawaji meat) at our Japanese restaurant “Harimanada.”

    Is parking available at your hotel?

    A.

    Our parking is free of charge and you can leave your car parked before check-in and after check-out as well. Please note that we do not accept parking reservations. There are 260 parking units.

    Do you have a parking lot for bicycles?

    A.

    There is no parking available for bicycles, but we can keep your bicycle at the front desk. Customers who have a bag for the bicycle can also bring it to their room.

    What time does the shuttle bus leave and how long does it take to get to the hotel?

    A.

    If you contact us and inform us about your arrival time, we can pick you up from Fukura Bus Terminal, Fukura Uzushio Dome or Awajishima South Interchange.
    It takes about 8 minutes to get from Fukura Uzushio Dome to the hotel.

    We also operate a shuttle bus from the hotel to Fukura Sailing point for whirlpool sightseeing. It takes about 10 minutes and it departs at 8:45; 10:00 and 11:15.

    Can I receive packages at the hotel?

    You can have a package sent to the hotel some days before your arrival or during your stay and we will receive it for you. Please make sure to write the hotel's name, the name you used to make your reservation, your arrival date (yyyy/mm/dd format) and in case you are part of a group trip, the name of your group.

    If you want to send a package from the hotel, you can do that at the shopping plaza on first floor, where we also sell boxes. Please talk to the counter staff after having prepared the box and filled in the appropriate documentation.
